Worthless is an ability used by members of the Belial Clan of Devils.
Summary[]
An ability exclusive to the Belial Clan, one of the families of the 72 Pillars. Due to the characteristic being enhanced by Diehauser Belial's Satan-class power, Diehauser was able to use it to become the top ranked Rating Game player.
Abilities[]
Worthless is a Demonic Power that allows the user to invalidate things, such as special abilities, properties or effects.[1] [2]
Diehauser demonstrated the capability to invalidate the special characteristic of the Phenex — Immortality, as he was able to enhance his demonic power attacks with "Worthless" to negate Riser Phenex and Ravel Phenex's Immortality during their Rating Game.[1]
Diehauser demonstrated the ability to negate the Rating Game retirement system, which automatically transports players to a medical room if they suffer too much damage during a game.[1]
Diehauser also demonstrated the ability to negate Issei Hyoudou's Boosted Gear's Boost ability, as he was able to make the enhanced dragon aura dissipate.[3]
Diehauser also demonstrated the ability to render objects such as Phoenix Tears "worthless" if he understands their characteristics.[3]
Weaknesses[]
Despite Worthless' potency, it does have several weaknesses. The user must understand the properties of the objects they intend to nullify in order to render it "worthless", as demonstrated by Diehauser needing to analyze the demonic energy of Riser Phenex and Ravel Phenex in order to invalidate the effects of the Phoenix Tears.[3] It cannot nullify the inherited abilities of Sacred Gears like their Balance Breakers, such as Boosted Gear's Scale Mail armor, being only able to nullify the Boosted Gear's special Boost ability. Worthless also cannot nullify the Boosted Gear's Penetrate ability due to its unique characteristic of bypassing all abilities that would prevent the user's attacks from landing, thus negating Worthless.[3]
