Tyrfing (ディルヴィング, Diruvingu) is one of the Demon Swords which specializes in destruction, it was formerly owned by Siegfried and is currently owned by Yuuto Kiba.
Summary[]
In Volume 9, Tyrfing was in the possession of Siegfried of the Hero Faction in the Khaos Brigade. Siegfried wielded all of his Demon Swords against Yuuto Kiba and Xenovia Quarta, defeating them with ease.
In Volume 12, Tyrfing came under Kiba's possession after he killed Siegfried, as well as all of Siegfried's other Demon Swords.
Appearance[]
Tyrfing is a long double-edged sword colored all black from the grip handle to the blade with four green diamond shaped patterns on the center and bat-winged shaped crossguard.
Abilities[]
One of Tyrfing's is Destructive Aura, similar to Excalibur Destruction. It has the power to unleash pure, destructive power that shatters anything it strikes.
It also has Demonic Aura.
Trivia[]
- Tyrfing is the titular sword used in the Norse legend collection the Tyrfing Cycle. According to the legend, it was a sword forged by the Dwarves Durin and Dvalin. They are forced to do so by Svafrlami, the king of Gardariki, but in revenge they curse the sword so that it will kill a man every time it is unsheathed, cause three evil deeds and be the undoing of Svafrlami.
