Tartarus is a Primordial God of Abyss in Greek mythology, who joined Hades and the Alliance of Hell to eliminate the DxD team, Longinus users, chief-gods of each mythology, and Ajuka Beelzebub.
Appearance[]
Tartarus is a hundred meter spherical mass with many eyes and tentacles. After his defeat, his body was reduced to five meters in span. His body gives out a unbelievable, malevolent aura and his presence also produces a dark mist.
Personality[]
As member of the Alliance of Hell, he shared the group members concerns about for the danger posed by the Longinus wielders.
Apparently he even considered them even more dangerous than most of the Alliance members. He is also very cautious after revealing himself to DxD, as he stated that killing the Longinus wielders was a bad idea, as he planned to capture the Longinus wielders and keep them alive into the Abyss to avoid the current Longinus wielders dying and their Longinus returning to the world with new wielders.
History[]
At some point, Tartarus received a invitation by Hades to join the Alliance of Hell.
Powers & Abilities[]
Immense Strength: As a Primordial God, Tartarus is a rather powerful god, being strong enough to fight against the entire D×D Team, consisting of even Issei, Cao Cao, and Tobio. As a testament to his power, he could handle fighting against Issei, who activated his A×A for a time, but was incapable of dealing significant damage and soon was overpowered.
Abyss Manipulation: He can manipulate the abyss, a vast space of emptiness filled with pure darkness, which produces a strong gravitational force, making flight impossible, while sealing his enemies within it, keeping them alive, thus preventing their Longinus from going to another host if their host dies. Tartarus is able to control space and dimensions, usurping control of the artificial space, which Georg created using his Balance Breaker.
Immense Durability: He has strong durability, letting him resist attacks from things such as Revelation All-Range Blaster that blew half of his body and his arms being cut off Issei's Revelation Blades.
Regeneration: Tartarus is shown with the ability to regenerate half of his body that was blown off and his arms that were cut by Issei's Revelation Blades.
Magic: Tartarus has shown some skill in magic.
- Defensive Magic: Tartarus can deploy defensive magic circles to protect himself from harm.
