Imo, Ravel is present in the meeting.

To be honest, I'm having doubts to whether she was present or not, since she might just have entered the room after the meeting. And it wasn't stated that the meeting took place in the old school building, although it is logical think that the meeting took place there.

Just saying, but that part about "Ravel" meaning "gravel" in French is actually wrong. You see, "Ravel" is actually derived from Italian surname "Ravelli", a variant of "Revello" or "Revelli".
For comparison, "gravel" would be translated as "gravier" in French.
