Skíðblaðnir are sentient magical ships created by the Ívaldi Tribe.
Summary[]
In the past, the Dwarven Ívaldi Tribe, which is the same tribe that created the divine hammer, Mjolnir meant for the Thunder God and second oldest son of Odin, Thor, also created the Skíðblaðnir, which are special sentient magical sailing ships hailed as being one of their masterpieces, their numbers being rare and countable. These special ships are able to grow and evolve based off the aura and imagination of their owner.
In Volume 13 Extra Life, Issei recieved one of the Skíðblaðnir from Surtr Second who gained it using certain conditions, believing that it would make a perfect familiar for him because of his unexpected growth and imagination, which he stated might result in the creation off an airship that hasn't been seen before.
In Volume 14, Issei named the Skíðblaðnir he received from Surt Second, Ryuuteimaru, which was immediately rejected by Kuroka.
In Volume 17, Ryuuteimaru has grown into the size of a boat, which was strong to haul around Asia and fast enough to move short distances in an instant.
Appearance[]
Most Skíðblaðnir such as Ryuuteimaru appears to be small toy sailing airships that has detailed designs to them similar to those that appaers in fantasy RPGs as decsribed by Issei. A unique feature of the Skíðblaðnir is that they could transform into different airships based off the aura and imagination of the owner, Surtr Second even stated that one of them could take on an entirely different and never before been seen.
Powers and Abilities[]
A unique feature of Skíðblaðnir are their ability to grow and evolve based off of the aura and imagination of their owner, which is most noted as Ryuuteimaru have undergone mulitiple changes and alterations because its current host is Issei Hyoudou who has been undergoing different changes because of the usages of Diabolos Dragon.
