Christian Mythology[]

God of the Bible[]

God of the Bible (聖書(せいしょ)(かみ), Seisho no Kami) was the original leader of the Angels, who died in the Great War and the main pillar of the Three Factions. He is the creator of the Holy System that controls blessed items that causes harm to Devils, provide miracles, and determines those who can be saved. More so, he created the Sacred Gear System, which provides Humans (or half-humans) with special powers, as well as the original Thirteen Longinus, which hold the potential to slay gods. He resided in the Seventh Heaven.

He was known for his benevolence and kindness toward humankind, but later he developed a hatred for Dragons and snakes after Samael made Adam and Eve devour the Fruit of Knowledge, which manifests as a curse in the Fallen Angel considered the ultimate Dragon Slayer as well as the negative portrayal of Dragons in the Bible. Before the Great War, he sealed the apocalyptic beast; Trihexa, using thousands of forbidden seals, which Rizevim theorized left him in a weakened state during the Great War, where he died alongside the Four Great Satans. His death has been kept secret to maintain the faith of his believers, but has weakened the control over the Holy and Sacred Gear Systems he once held, and prevents the pure Angel population from increasing. Despite being dead, his will still exist through the True Longinus ultimate move Truth Idea, but it did not work when Cao Cao attempted to use it on Issei due to the will of God in the True Longinus choosing Issei's dream instead of Cao Cao's ambition.
