Ophis' Snake, also known simply as Snake, are the manifestations of Ophis' power which can be used to enhance the powers of others.
Summary[]
During some point in time, after Ophis became leader of the Khaos Brigade, she gave three leaders of the Old Satan Faction and Diodora Astaroth snakes as a mark of their loyalty to her and as a means of helping her to attain her desire of defeating Great Red and returning to the Dimensional Gap. Though in reality, all of them had no intention of helping her and were just using her as a means of gaining power to accomplish their own objectives.
In Volume 4, during the Three Factions peace conference, Katerea Leviathan consumed a snake to enhance her power during her fight with Azazel.[1]
In Volume 6, it is revealed that Diodora Astaroth used a snake to strengthen himself and win his Rating Game match against Seekvaira Agares.[2] Creuserey Asmodeus enhanced his power with a snake to fight against Sirzechs Lucifer. [3] Shalba Beelzebub also used a snake to raise his power although he was overpowered by Issei Hyoudou in his Juggernaut Drive form.[4]
In Volume 7, it is revealed that all of the Hero Faction Sacred Gear possessors that were captured by the Three Factions died unnaturally due to the snakes causing their Sacred Gears to break.[5]
In Volume 11, during the Hero Faction's attack on Ophis, it is revealed that she released most of her power in the form of snakes to an alternate dimension to avoid having it stolen by Samael. Due to Samael stealing her power, it is revealed that Ophis cannot make her power enhancing snakes due to her power being unstable.[6]

The mark of Ophis' power
Ophis can manifest special snakes, which are a manifestation of her powers able to give those who consumes them a tremendous boost in power similar to the King Piece.[7] This is most noted as the three leaders of the Old Satan Faction, Katerea Leviathan, Creuserey Asmodeus, and Shalba Beelzebub recieved power on par with their ancestors after using them.[4]
Diodora, who despite never training, could raise his demonic powers to the point of surpassing Rias', a powerful and talented High-Class Devil, and defeat Seekvaira and her peerage in a direct confrontation.[2]
It is revealed that Ophis' snakes can be used to wrap itself around a Sacred Gear to forcefully drag out the hidden potential power of the Sacred Gear and stimulate the unknown factors of the Balance Breaker in hopes that the user can attain it. However, due to the delicate nature of Sacred Gears, this is considered dangerous way of enhancing as if the process doesn't work, there exist the possibility of the Sacred Gear breaking and killing the possessor.[5]
