Nothung (ノートゥング, Nōtungu) is one of the Demon Swords, which specializes in sharpness.
Summary[]
In Volume 9, it was in the possession of Siegfried of the Hero Faction in the Khaos Brigade. Siegfried wielded all of his Demon Swords against Kiba and Xenovia, defeating them with ease.
In Volume 12, Nothung came under Kiba's possession after he killed Siegfried, as well as all of Siegfried's other Demon Swords.
Appearance[]
Nothung has a much lighter color and ornate appearance which is different from other demonic swords, it appears almost like a broadsword with a much wider blade, a blue crossguard that extends up the dark-blue colored filler with a light blue diamond in the middle with a hardening line that appears to be wave-like on both sides, a golden grip and unique-shaped pommel.
Abilities[]
Nothung's qualities are sharpness, similar to Durandal or Gram. It has the power to slice through anything with great piercing ability, which could slice space as well.
Trivia[]
- Nothung is an alternate name for Gram.
