Mittelt (ミッテルト, Mitteruto) was a Fallen Angel who allied herself with Raynare in her plot to steal Asia Argento's Sacred Gear[1].
Appearance[]
Mittelt was a girl with blonde hair, which was styled into twin-tails and blue eyes[2].
She wore a Gothic Lolita attire, which consisted of a black dress with white frills, a large black bow on the front, and a green jewel embedded on the collar, white thigh-high socks with suspender garters, a black set of frilly panties, and black shoes. She also wore a large black bow on top of her hair.[3]
Despite her intricate design, she is only mentioned in the light novel by name three times and is never present in a scene. Similar to the other two fallen angels aligned to Raynare, her introduction, role, and exit are not described at all.
Personality[]
Mittelt seemed to be a joyful, upbeat girl at first glance[2], but in reality, she was playfully cruel, spiteful, and cynical[3]. This is shown by the fact that she felt no hesitation in trolling her opponents. This is shown in the dialogue in Episode 4, Season 1, when Rias and Akeno confront her, who proceed to call her bratty and annoying.

Plot[]
The Red Dragon Emperor's Awakening[]
In the anime, she was ordered by Raynare to stand guard at the back of the abandoned Church[2]. She was soon confronted by Rias and Akeno and fought them alongside Kalawarner and Dohnaseek.[3] She was removed by Rias' Power of Destruction[1] after making fun of Issei for how he was treated by Raynare (then as Yuuma) on their first date, which made Rias angry.[3] During the attack, she is present when the two other Fallen Angels are killed by Rias Gremory in Episode 5, Season 1. However, on screen, she was most to the side of the energy blast and not in the direct path of the Power of Destruction. Thus, she was not pictured disintegrating on camera and unlike the two other Fallen Angels, Kalawarner and Dohnaseek, could be very much alive.[4]
Powers & Abilities[]
Light-Based Weapons: Mittelt could create and throw light spears capable of killing devils.[3]
Flight: Being a Fallen Angel, Mittelt could fly using her wings.[2]
Trivia[]
- Mittelt's height was 145 cm (4 feet 9 inches) according to the visual book that contained her data.
- Out of all the female Fallen Angels seen in the series, Mittelt has the smallest breast size out of all of them, but slightly larger than the smallest of the members of Issei's harem (Koneko).
- She did not appear in the light novel or manga but was mentioned by Rias as one of the three Fallen Angels that was "eliminated."
- In the anime, Mittelt's light spear was shown to be pink.
- In line with her concept art, she is shown in the anime to have black and white frilly panties with white suspenders and a large bottom.
- She has the highest ratio of DXD mobage cards to screen time of any other character in the show. Despite being on screen for only 5 minutes, she has 168 official mobage cards.
