Metatron is one of the Ten Seraphs in the Sixth Heaven.
Appearance
Metatron is described as an angel who possesses twelve pure white angel wings. After becoming a ninja, he wears a white ninja uniform.
Personality
Metatron is established to be fascinated by ninjas, becoming fascinated by their elegance and courage that was shown in films, television, and manga as he went out of his way to undergo ninja training from a ninja living in Kuoh Town.
History
Metatron served as one of the highest ranked Angels and assisted the Biblical God in the Great War against the Devils and Fallen Angels. After God died in the Great War, the Angels were forced to retreat as Metatron and the other Seraphs try to activate the Heavens' system and were successful in activating it. At some point, he became fascinated by ninja as he asked Michael to allow him to train as a ninja, to which Michael obliged.
Plot
The Legend of Oppai Dragon and his Lively Companions
Metatron appears as a student of Tanmon Momochi, a ninja master of Iga Ryu. He underwent training alongside Kuroka and Le Fay Pendragon. After Kuroka brought the Occult Research Club to train, he was initially displeased with her bringing more people to their training grounds until he noticed Irina Shidou. As he explained his reasons for undergoing ninja training to the Occult Research Club, he informed Tanmon Momochi of the Occult Research Club's desire to be trained as ninjas, which the ninja master accepted. After Armaros made another attempt to recruit Tamon Momochi to the Grigori, Metatron fought against him while the Occult Research Club finished their ninja training.[1]
Powers & Abilities
Immense Light Power: As an Angel, Metatron has the can use light powers to create various effects, as one of the Ten Seraph, his light powers are superior among other angels.
- Light-Based Weapons: Being an Angel, Metatron is able to form multiple weapons from light with ease as he able create various light weapons in the form of ninja tools as he fought against Armaros.
Immense Strength: As a Angel and one of the Ten Seraphs, Metatron is most likely wields power equivalent to a Satan-Class Devil.
Flight: Being an Angel, Metatron is able to fly using his wings.
Trivia
- The only known member of his Brave Saints is his "Jack" Kiyotora Shinra, who is from the Shinra Clan.[2]
- He and Armaros share a have an ongoing feud since the Great Flood.[1]
- Metatron is an angel in the Abrahamic faiths who is often identified as the scribe of Heaven, his name means "One who sits/serves behind the throne."
