The Light Sword (軽剣, Keiken) is a weapon primarily used by Exorcists.
Summary[]
The Light Swords were created to be used by Exorcists to combat supernatural creatures, specifically those who are dark and impure, similar to the Angels' Light Weapons. These compensate for those unable to use true Holy Swords.
Abilities[]
The blade of the sword is made of solidified condensed light with a sharp edge. These function similar Holy Swords; being effective against Devils, Vampires and other dark creatures except they are considerably weaker, but do not require Humans with high amounts of the Holy Element inside their body in order to wield them. The light blade is retractable from the handle.
Trivia[]
- According to Raynare, the light from Angels and Fallen Angels's Light Weapons is infused into Light Swords in order to create them.[1]
