Kasha (火車, Burning Chariot) is an ability used in High School DxD.

Summary

An ability that is exclusive to the Nekomata, which allows them to summon flame-covered wheels said to be able to lure the dead to the other world.

Abilities

The user is able to summon multiple wheels covered in spiritual flames, which can be summoned or manipulated by swinging their arms.

A skilled enough Senjutsu user is able to imbue it with the power of purification, which Koneko did after entering Shirone Mode and changing the natural ki that it took in, turning beings such as vampires into ash on contact. It is effective even against creatures whose weaknesses have been removed by the Holy Grail, as the flames won't stop burning until they change the reason and principle of their existence. According to Azazel, the Kasha purifies the opponents it is used against with positive power, in contrast to Saji's Blaze Black Flare's cursed flame, which curses the target with negative energy.

It is shown that Youkai that use Kasha can use Senjutsu to manipulate the life force and souls of others as Koneko was able to use her Kasha to seal the soul of the Evil Dragon Grendel inside of a jewel from Issei's Scale Mail armor.

• Kasha are Japanese cat-like Yōkai that steals the corpses of those who have died as a result of accumulating evil deeds and carries them to hell. Kashas are said to travel the world on burning chariots or barouches.
• The name "Kasha" can mean "burning chariot", "burning barouche" or "changed wheel".
• The color of one's Kasha varies as proven with Koneko; whose Kasha is colored white, while Kuroka's is colored black.
