Kankara Formula (カンカラー・フォーミュラ, Kankarā Fōmyura), also known as Equation of Military Supremacy (覇軍の方程式, Hagun no Hōteishiki), is a specialized technique, which is unique to Ajuka Beelzebub.

Summary

In Volume Zero, during the Devil Civil War, Ajuka used his Kankara Formula against Tsufaame Tereaku Leviathan, taking control over her attacks and redirected all of them back at her, defeating her.

According to Ajuka, in Volume 12, all the phenomena and abilities in the world have both rules and laws to them, which he was able to get an answer to by filling in the equations. In the past, Ajuka said that he had an interest in calculations, causing his Demonic Powers became specialized in those areas. It allowed him to take complete control over the attacks of Devils from the Old Satan Faction, redirecting the attacks and defeating them.

Abilities

Kankara Formula allows Ajuka to manipulate the phenomena that occur in the world by using his demonic powers to fill in the calculations of the natural phenomena. By using a specialized magic circle, he is capable of affecting the outside world in various ways. He demonstrated the ability to turn Tsufaame Tereaku Leviathan's water blasts into mist and evaporate them, change her water beasts back into water, and redirected her attacks back at her. Ajuka was able to take control of Tsufame's attacks and calculate them in such a way that they became impossible for her to disable them. It is noted that Ajuka could control Tsufame's attacks better than her as Ajuka even dissipated a giant torrent of aura coming from Tsufaame's transformed Leviathan form.

Trivia

• The Kankara Formula's name could be a reference the Kankara (कङ्कर), which is the sixteenth of sixty digits in a special enumeration system mentioned by Vasubandhu in his Abhidharmakośa (Treasury of Knowledge). It is later said that the explanations of the measures of years, eons, and so forth must all be comprehended through calculations based on a numerical system.
  • More simply, it may (also) be a Garaigo variant of the word "conqueror."
• Ajuka's Demonic Powers have been described as specializing in creation, in which contrast to his friend and rival Sirzechs Lucifer, whose Demonic Powers specializes in destruction.
• In the short story The Fun Gremory Family, Ajuka used a technique titled "Kankara Formula! Karama-Equation!" as part of an attack, although the exact effects of this equation were not detailed.
