Guan Di (Guan Yu as Human) is the former general of the Kingdom of Shu. He is later resurrected as a God of Commerce of Mt. Meru under Indra. He serves as a Queen and supervisor for Team Spear of the Heavenly Emperor.
Appearance[]
Guan Di is a large man of Chinese descent who wears a green set of ancient Chinese armor from his days as a human in the Han Dynasty and has a very long beard.
Personality[]
Guan Di is a very noble and honorable man. He’s willing to do as he instructed that’s what given to him such as watching over the descendant of his former enemy, Cao Cao if he causes trouble.
History[]
In the past, Guan Yu fought for the Shu Kingdom as one of its generals until he met his death. At some point, Guan Yu was resurrected as a God of Commerce at Mt. Meru. From that time he began to bear the new name — "Guan Di".
Plot[]

Guan Di made his first appearance in Volume DX.4, arriving late at floating city of the Agares with his Chinese horse the Red Hare. When Sairaorg Bael asked him if he willing to wield his weapon along with Cao Cao again, Guan Di just says that he’s remembering his old days.
During the match Guan Di and Georg fought against Kuisha Abaddon, where he tried to slash her with his Crescent Blade but managed to dodge it by hiding in her Hole ability until her allies came to aid her in her fight against them. The match is over with Team Spear of the Heavenly Emperor as victor due having more points than the opposing team.
Guan Di was mentioned in Volume 25, with Team Spear of the Heavenly Emperor having him as a member that Cao Cao’s chances of winning will be high.
Powers & Abilities[]
Immense Strength: While a powerful human warrior in his previous life as a human, after being reborn as a God, Guan Di regarded as a Ultimate God-class being in Underworld and revered as a God in many countries in the Human World. Guan Di is capable of handling the Hero Faction if they made a slight betrayal.
Touki (闘気, Fighting Spirit): Guan Di has Touki so powerful that Issei could feel it even through the screen while watching match.
Equipment[]
Green Dragon Crescent Moon Blade (青龍偃月刀, Seiryu Engetsu-tou) Guan Di wields his ancient guandao that he used when he served the Shu Kingdom as a general.
Red Hare Horse (赤兎馬, Sekitoba): The legendary red horse from the Chinese era that Guan Yu rode on from his days as a Shu general.
Trivia[]
- Guan Yu is the first human from the ancient past of the Han Dynasty to be reborn as a god.
- In Records of the Three Kingdoms, Guan Yu's horse the Red Hare is a very powerful war horse which originally belonged to Lu Bu, another famous Chinese general and warlord of the Late Eastern Han Dynasty. After Lu Bu was executed by Cao Cao, Cao Cao presented the Red Hare to Guan Yu as a gift. The Red Hare accompanied Guan Yu in all his battles until his death when Guan Yu was executed by Sun Quan, the ruler of Wu. While the Red Hare was kept alive, it chose to starve itself to death. The Red Hare is most likely reborn alongside Guan Yu to served as his steed.
