Gandoma Balam is Sairaorg's Rook from the House of Balam, one of the remaining families from the 72 Pillars. The trait of this household is having superhuman strength.
Appearance[]
Gandoma is an enormous man who is about 3 meters (around nine feet) tall. He has a muscular build and his arms and fingers are thick in size. His face resembles that of a monster rather than a human with his skin being tan in color. His eyes are pale blue-gray.
Personality[]
Gandoma is extremely loyal to Sairorg like all of the members of Sairorg's peerage.
History[]
Not much is known about Gandoma, other than at some point before the series, he joined Sairaorg's peerage.

Gandoma's immense strength
Immense Strength: As a member of the Balam Clan, Gandoma has natural superhuman strength, which was further increased through physical augmentation of a Rook Piece and further training, being able to defeat Koneko with a single strike even when he himself was on the verge of retirement.
Immense Durability: As a Rook and a member of the Balam clan, Gandoma has incredible defense and durability, which has allowed him to withstand powerful physical attacks from Koneko Toujou in her Nekomata Mode Level 2 and even Rossweisse's Norse magic. Even after taking a full burst magic attack from Rossweisse while his aura was disrupted by Koneko, he managed to muster enough strength to take down Koneko.
- Magic Resistance: He has a very high resistance to magic attacks, even those from Rossweisse's powerful offensive magic, requiring Koneko to disrupt his aura with Senjutsu enhanced attacks for Rossweisse's magic to take full effect.
Flight: Being a Devil, Gandoma can use his wings to fly.

Rook Piece (戦車の駒, Sensha no koma): Gandoma was given the Rook Piece, which grants him enhanced offense and defense.
