Fused Excalibur (融合エクスカリバー, Yūgō Ekusukaribā), also known as Merged Excalibur, is a Holy Sword that was formed by merging four of the Excalibur fragments into a single blade, making it an incomplete version of the True Excalibur.

Summary

The Fused Excalibur was created in Volume 3 during Kokabiel's attack on Kuoh Town by Valper Galilei; who combined 4 of the Excalibur fragments that Kokabiel acquired into a single blade.

The Fused Excalibur was then given to Freed Sellzen to wield, as he had aquired the ability to wield the Excalibur fragments by being infused with the Holy Element. Freed then fought against the members of Rias Gremory's Peerage and Xenovia Quarta, as he was defeated after Xenovia managed to shatter the Fused Excalibur.

The broken fragments were later recovered by Xenovia, who then gave them to Irina Shidou to return to the Vatican as Xenovia was exiled from the Church upon learning the death of the God of the Bible.

Abilities

The Fused Excalibur is a Holy Sword that is an incomplete version of the True Excalibur blade. Due to being created by combining 4 Excalibur fragment swords, the Fused Excalibur was capable of using all of their abilities, such as:

• Granting the user and blade enhanced speed (Rapidly).
• Allowing the wielder to cast illusions and manipulate dreams (Nightmare).
• Allowing the blade and/or wielder to become invisible (Transparency).
• Allowing the wielder to transform the sword into any shape he/she desires (Mimic).

However, despite the sword's power, it is noted that the blade isn't a completed Holy Sword and cannot overpower strong(er) blades such as the Holy Demonic Sword or Durandal, the latter which managed to shatter the Fused Excalibur.
