Abilities

Crack is a unique power that creates a tear in things within the range of the user. It has high direct attack power, but if the user is skilled in its use, they can create a "tear" in the attacks of others.

Roygun demonstrated the ability to create tears in Typhon's lightning, wind and flames, as she was able to pinpoint the center point of the attacks to create tears in them and scatter their momentum. Due to Crack's weakness, it can be interpreted that while she cannot create tears on living beings whose power is far superior to her own, due to her superior experience, she can scatter their attacks to a degree as she was later defeated due to losing all of her stamina.

During the Rating Game match against Team Rias Gremory, Roygun revealed a new technique of her Crack ability, which allows her to expands the range of her ability as she could create a tear on a person or object that would accumulate over time. The ability is very potent as it is incapable of being cured by the likes of Asia Argento's Twilight Healing or Valerie Tepes' Sephiroth Graal , as demonstrated when Lint Sellzen was hit by the technique and suffered the continuous effects of the technique, as it weakened her to the point of her not being able to perfectly use her Balance Breaker. Roygun noted that even with Asia’s high healing ability, it would still take hours to completely heal it.

Weaknesses

According to Roygun, Crack cannot produce tears on those whose power exceeds the user's, such as Satan or God-class beings.

Trivia

• This power may have been derived by the author from the name Belphegor itself, with the Hebrew term it was derived from meaning Lord of the Gap, and some saying it was developed from Phegor, which according to Leloyer means "crevice" or "split."
