Belzard is one of the previous Red Dragon Emperors who wielded the Boosted Gear before Issei. He is regarded as the strongest male Red Dragon Emperor and is considered to be the strongest Red Dragon Emperor.
Appearance[]
Belzard is a buff, handsome man with green hair and pink eyes. He is fashionably dressed as he wears a black noble uniform which has a red cape attached to it.
Personality[]
Belzard is shown to be a stoic and gruff figure. However, he does have a playful and mischievous side as he is shown to like Issei's Oppai Dragon show, to the point that he quoted its lyrics and dance choreography as a final parting message to Issei.
History[]
Belzard was once a past possessor of the Boosted Gear, being his generation's Red Dragon Emperor. Like all Red Dragon Emperors, he fought against the White Dragon Emperor, defeating two White Dragon Emperors during his lifetime, which earned him the title of the strongest Red Dragon Emperor.
Plot[]
The Heroic Oppai Dragon[]
In Volume 9, it is stated by Elsha that he took an interest in Issei and wanted to help him grow. Elsha reveals that she and Belzard were watching Oppai Dragon from the mindscape, laughing as it made them very happy due to the fact that Issei was able to overcome Juggernaut Drive with it. After Issei unlocks llegal Move Triaina, he appears alongside Elsha, singing the Oppai Dragon song lyrics before disappearing.

Immense Strength: Belzard is regarded as the strongest male Red Dragon Emperor and the strongest Red Dragon Emperor in existence, as he was able to defeat two White Dragon Emperors in his lifetime.
Equipment[]
Boosted Gear (赤龍帝の籠手, Būsuteddo Gia): Belzard's former Sacred Gear. The Boosted Gear is one of the 13 Longinus which holds the spirit of the Welsh Dragon, the Red Dragon Emperor, Ddraig, one of the Heavenly Dragons.
