Beelzebub is one of the original Four Great Satans clans, who ruled over all Devils including the 72 Pillars, being famous for its ability to create and control flies.
Summary[]
The Beelzebub Clan originates from the original Beelzebub, who is its progenitor. Desiring world domination, Beelzebub joined his fellow Satans in realizing their mutual ambition to become the Kings of the World as they attempted to destroy Heaven, God of the Bible and his Angels as well as Azazel and his Fallen Angels.
Waging war against Heaven and Grigori, the original Beelzebub was killed in the Great War alongside the other Satans.
Beelzebub's son, Bidleid Bashalun Beelzebub, tried to inherit his father's ambition for world domination, as he alongside the other children of the original Satans prepared to restart the Great War in order to destroy Michael and Azazel and eventually the Gods from other mythologies to take over the world and ruled as its dictator as his father had wished for.
During the Devil Civil War, Bidleid tried to convince Rizevim to join the fight as with his power, the Satans would win against the Anti-Satan Faction, the Angels, the Fallen Angels and even the Gods from other mythologies, but was unsuccessful. During the last battle of the war, he fought against Sirzechs Gremory as he attempted to defeat the crimson prince but was overpowered by Sirzechs in his Aura of Destruction form, losing several limbs and wings as he cursed Sirzechs before being killed by him.[1]
Several hundred years later, Shalba Beelzebub alongside other descendants of the Satans formed the Old Satan Faction, in order to fulfill their ancestors' original goal for the Satan Clans to become rulers of the World by using Ophis as a means of achieving their goals. He allied with Diodora Astaroth, suggesting to him to use Asia Argento's Sacred Gear's reverse effect to kill of the major faction leaders who were watching the Youth Devil Rating Game matches. Shalba appeared after Diodora was defeated by Issei Hyoudou, killing Diodora for his failure and sending Asia to the Dimensional Gap as he attempted to kill the Gremory Group. However, the sight of Asia being seemingly killed triggered Issei's Juggernaut Drive, which allowed Issei to overpower Shalba, as he was seemingly killed by Juggernaut Drive's Longinus Smasher.[2]
However, Shalba survived thanks to a rescue by the Hero Faction, albeit barely, badly wounded and losing the enhanced power he had from Ophis' Snake. During his recovery, his blood was used in Sacred Gear experiments, resulting in the Chaos Break. After recovering, he kidnapped Leonardo, and took him to the confrontation between the Hero Faction and the Gremory Group. He forced Leonardo to use a unstable temporary Balance Breaker to create giant Anti-Monsters which he planned to unleash on the Underworld, seeking to destroy it for rejecting him as a Satan as he tried to kidnap Ophis. He was confronted and overpowered by Issei, as he forced to use the hidden arrow coated with Samael's blood to try to defeat Issei. However, Issei was still able to defeat him and kill him. Issei later died due to the Samael poison but was able to revive with Great Red's power.[3]

King of Flies: The special ability of the Beelzebub bloodline. It gives the user the ability to summon and control flies. The flies can be used to create magic circles to attack a target from their position or can be combined into bigger creatures under the control of the summoner. If the user is powerful enough, they can even transform into a giant "Fly Chimera", which has immense strength and the ability to release a deadly poison.
Immense Demonic Power: The members of the Beelzebub Clan possess extremely powerful demonic power, exceeding that of a normal High-Class Devil from a 72 Pillar and Extra Demon Bloodline.
Multiple Wings: All Devils that are blood-descendants of the original Beelzebub have the unique trait of having multiple wings, similar as Angels and Fallen Angels.

The symbol of the Beelzebub Clan consists of a capital "B" almost like an insect's wing that has an insect-like tail on top and a claw at the bottom.
